In addition to the services quoted within the Ancestry and Descendancy sections (see links), general research within New Register House can be carried out on the customers instructions at a rate of £15 per hour.

As well as the sources located in New Register House, Sons of Scotland may on occasion be willing to carry out further research elsewhere (for example in the Mitchell Library, Glasgow, which holds Poor Law records and School Enrolment records for much of the west of Scotland).

We can also take photographs (with a quality digital camera) of locations in Scotland.
